I think Alexandria gives a confident, sort of unique, headstrong image. She doesn't like to follow everyone else, she'd rather make her own rules. I imagine a girl with pale skin, dark auburn hair and green eyes.

Ashley gives a sort of "popular girl" feel--you know, blonde, likes to shop, etc. It's sort of an overused name now.
