Question:

What kind of gloves should I wear for horse back riding?

I need gloves that keep my hands warm, aren't slippery so I can hold the reins without them slipping from my hands, and are easy to move my fingers so my grip my reins correctly. Regular riding gloves are great but they don't exactly seem to keep my hands warm. Any help here?

  1. you could get a pair of regular leather isotoners with a little insulation... they're not too bulky and the leather will allow you to grip the reins.  http://www.totes-isotoner.com/category/i...

They do make winter riding gloves that you can buy at a tack shop or online... they'll be more expensive than regular gloves, but they're made for riding.  Here's a link to a page of them: http://www.tackroominc.com/riding-gloves...

  2. i got some really nice ones but their not so warm cause i dont ride in the winter, i think i got them at like the 'golden saddle' store or somethin
