I have waders with a little hold and I need to know what kind of glue to use? All the stores in town are out of the patch kits for waders..

  1. marine "goop."

that's what it's called and it really works.

wal mart, ace, home depot or lowes

  2. if you don't have any money and can't afford to buy something as specialized as the suggestions above you might try putting a piece of wax paper under the hole (so you don't stick one side to another ) and use silicone caulking compound for windows (exterior is best) just use an ice cream stick to smear it in the hole and push it into the cracking neoprene. Make sure it has no ridges to snag onto other things like line or your net. let it cure a week and color with a marks-a-lot indelible ink pen.

  3. Good quality duct tape will work in a pinch. Otherwise, you can use Shoe Goo, which is a strong but flexible rubber-like glue made to fix holes in shoes and boots, so it should work for waders.

  4. You can use the special glue called aqua seal, it repairs neoprene and standard rubber and stocking foot waders(gore-tex)

Loon also makes a UV activated glue.
