  1. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/produc...

great beginner set, has all the essentials, and right in your price range.

  2. I would recomend a set of taylor made golf clubs. They swing very nice. They are really expensive though. But on ebay you can get them cheap, probably with $200.

  3. I always recommend a set of Callaway Big Bertha '06 irons to beginners. The irons are extremely forgiving.

You can purchase a used set online. Go to http://callawaygolfpreowned.com.

  4. 1.Affinity Crossfire 3/8 Combo (Mens Right-Handed, 3 Graphite Woods, 4, 5 Hybrid Irons, 6 Thru Pitching Wedge Irons, Putter, Stand Bag And Headcovers)

New YOUTH Inferno Hybrid Golf Club Set w/ Stand Bag

  5. Go to Golfsmith or Golfgalaxy golf shop they have large selections of new and pre-owned club sets. Talk to the pro you can try as many set as you want. In golfsmith they club sets name Zevo Graphite for $99 or $79 for steel shaft and its good for beginners, then those pre-owned Taylor Made R80 for $50 and a putter. Good Luck!

  6. I don't think you could pick up a reliable set of golf clubs for $200. Good Luck.

    Have a good one...

  7. Don't limit yourself to other peoples opinions mate.

Get yourself down to your local pro-shop and explain your situation.

I'm from the UK and your budget relates to around £100 (Maybe £50) which is not that much for a set of clubs.

You also ask for clubs that are Good and Reliable, well let me just emphasise, clubs are only as reliable as the player that uses them, A player with a rubbish swing has a rubbish swing whether he hits a $10 Club or a $200 club.

Regarding your comment of wanting a good set of clubs, For the kind of budget you have set yourself you will be thinking about buying from a box. You know the kind of clubs I mean, you get: -

    A Driver / 3 Wood / 5 Wood / 10 x Irons / Putter + Bag for $199.99

STOP!! These clubs often use cheap materials and offer little help to new players, they have minimal forgiveness and will more than likely set your game back rather than take it forward. You would be much better suited in buying a good 2nd hand set from 3/4/5 years ago.

To put it simply, go and explain yourself to your local pro shop or teaching pro, the shop (Or Pro) should then be able to advise you of the best way to spend your cash.

    Hope this helps!!
