What would make you (hopefully some hockey players or hockey parents respond) purchase a hockey stick, regarding the graphics? What do you/don't you like? What haven't you seen yet that you'd like to?

  1. I usually buy for quality not graphics. I am a wood stick gal. I usually use Christian, Sherwood or Easton sticks.

  2. Just give me a stick! No price and no Graphics can change the fact that I just want to play hockey. The younger generation is so caught up on how things look..... to me its how you play, not how you look! Never forget that!

  3. I typically purchase a stick based on the brand name and the stick itself, but if I were to base it off of graphics, I would probably pick something that flows well, and is mainly dark colors. One that I really like is the RBK 7k with the red, black, and white.

  4. Art works would be nice on the stick,

also it would make the hockey stick unique from the original.

But then again it's about the quality of the stick, not the graphics.

    Graphics don't get you goals.

  5. I choose my stick by the feel, not graphics. I use wooden sticks, typically either wood colour or black. Usually I just get ones that say Easton, Sherwood, etc.

  6. i use wood sticks because my slapshot is more powerful but i will definetly be buying the new fuel vefore high school season starts again

  7. I don't pick my sticks for graphics.  I still use sherwood feather lights and they don't have much along the lines of graphics on them.  I don't like the bright and gaudy colors (pink, yellow, lime green)...I like a stick that looks like a stick and get's the job done.

  8. graphics dont matter. i look at the flex, performance, and grip of the stick. i  use easton composite sticks and in my opinion they have pretty good stock graphics.

  9. You need to look at shaft stiffness and blade curve. Do you like a heel curve or a toe curve and flexible stick or stiff one. I imagine from your question your a young kid, so I would say use a flexible stick and if your just having fun and not in it for the sport and to play high school or college then get a wood stick for cheap.

  10. s***w the graphics, it's about function. my best stick in highschool was a bland looking Hespeler Fibretech4 (Gilmour pattern) that worked like magic.
