What kind of grass fertilizer do i need and do i water after i fertilize guys?

a very good product is made by fertilome called classic lawn food it is a 16-0-8 and slow release for when it is hot it will not burn.

Like Zack mentioned, you need to be careful with fertilization because what doesn't go into the grass goes into the drainage and becomes a nuissance for the REST of us.

fertilizer will have three numbers, such as 15-15-15. the first number is the nitrogen, which makes plants grow and look greener. if you want to make your grass look greener soon, use fertilizer with high percentage of nitrogen. 24 percent will work great. i live an hr way from you. so i know it is hot were you live. a low release will work better. i usually use triple 15. always water after fertilizing your grass, specially if it is hot. if you want to keep you grass green all the time, fertilize once a month and use smaller amounts. what the grass cant take, will go to the drain. i hope this helps.
