  1. Of course, Acoustic for beginners.. Electric guitars hurt your ears and Bass isn't really a guitar since it just have 4 strings. So i really think you should buy acoustic and also it's nice..

  2. Acoustic.  Forces you to learn better finger positioning and so on.  Do not need expensive external equipment like electric guitars.  You can take it to parties and impress all the girls ;-)

  3. no right or wrong answer to this, but I started on acoustic and I'm glad I did.

technically, they're louder on their own and their cheaper. in the end if you decide it's not something you want to pursue you're not out a ton of money.

electric guitars are fun, but much more complicated and expensve. amps, distortion pedals and consoles, etc it's just a lot more to think about and as a beginner you should probably walk before you run.

good luck & I hope this helps! kudos for being brave enough to try something new!

  4. you should start on acoustic, because (like what the 1st guy said) acoustics are harder to play, they have thicker strings and will make your hands stronger, but you  can still buy an electric and put heavy guage strings on it and get the same effect. Heavy guage strings also give the guitar a better tone.

  5. I promise you, it doesn't really matter just depends on what you would like to do.  Go with what ever you plan on doing the most of in the future.  Eventually you will want to have like 20 guitars if you keep it up, and they will all be different.

You can learn on any of those although I would suggest going with either an electric or acoustic guitar rather than a bass.  But i'm extremely bias.

Practice is more important than anything.

    Best of luck!
