What kind of handguns do brink guards use. I want to start training on my own?

Just applied for a brink's job in Canada. What kind of handguns do they use. I want to start training on my own?

All armored car guards by me can either carry their own handgun or a Smith&Wesson or Taurus .357magnum is issued. But that is all I have noticed.

The ones I've seen carry stainless S&W autos or wheelguns.

depending on the office . Brinks personal carry weapons from S&W and Ruger revolvers to Glock and lately S&W M&P  autos. some offices are very strict on what may be carried and some are a bit more liberal. given a choice  the 357mag is my choice  it is the only one that will punch body armour with the right bullets.

If you start trainning on your own you can develop some real bad habbits  that will be very hard to break!! Get your self in a good trainning school and work hard, it is something that may be good to have on your resume.

Same as policeman anywhere use.They use to have 38 revolvers but some places have changed to 9mm.As far as training on your own,you are better off having someone with you that knows handguns because it's not a good idea to go train on your own.
