What kind of headphones do I get for commercial movie theaters?

The theater I go to offers wireless headphones for

the hearing impaired. I want to get my own. What kind do I get for public systems??? I believe the

wireless headphones are infrared.

there wireless and there just like earphones idk how it sounds cuz i never used them but i saw them a couple times

ALD (Assisted Listening Devices) are available from several manufacturers. I like to install Sennheiser Infrared systems when I'm designing/building a theater. They hold up really well which keeps my service calls down!

Caution: Be sure that your favorite theater is using infrared. There are RF ALD systems and "loop" systems available too. The infrared are by far the most common.
