What kind of headset and land phone should I use for taking customer service calls at home?

Plantronics is one of the best names for headsets.  I use a Plantronics DSP-500 USB headset on my PC for making VoIP calls over my PC.

VoIP will be much more economical than PSTN land phone for doing customer service answering and calling.

But, Plantronics also has wired and wireless headset for PSTN phones, too.
