  1. Usually liver problems occur when someone overdoses. It can depend on the type of medication. Example, if you overdose on something like Tylenol, you'll have liver complications. If you overdose on something like Oxycodone, your central nervous system and respiratory system functions become depressed. Both can lead to death if the overdose is serious enough.

As far as how long after the overdosing question...don't know.

  2. Overdosing on pills can cause minor to major kidney, liver, possibly spleen problems. Those are your body's "filters" essentially, and everything get's filtered through those eventually. One of the most serious issues is that it could cause Cirrhosis of the liver, which if extreme enough could cause death. There is no telling about how long after overdosing does it take for your body to become stable, that all depends on the amount of and type of drug that was taken.

  3. Depends on what type of pills and how many.  Contact poison control to ask as you can remain anonymous.  1-800-222-1222.
