  1. hmm,

i think hes freisian and something else.

    percheron for sure(:

  2. ?

  3. Ive been riding since i was a few months old and u didnt give me very much description but id have to say that hes probably a percheron/belgian. hope this helps!!!

  4. Wow, he sure looks like a warm blood of some type.  We have lots of percherons around here and he doesn't look like any of them. Maybe he's percheron/thoroughbred.  He's not thick enough yet to show any belgian.  Good for you, saving him like that. He looks healthy and his coat is nice and shiny.  Look at some of the friesians on you tube and see if he moves like them.

No the best pics but they should give you some idea. I think he might be a Percheron/Friesian IMO. But I don't know that much about breeds but I think he resembles a Percheron x Friesian

  6. His legs look finer than Percheron or Belgian and he's got finer, longer feathers.  His neck is not as heavy as either of the others.  Time will probably tell more conclusively.  Or, you could spend $50 or so and get a DNA kit from U. of Ky.  Genetic markers will tell you more than we can.

He's a good looking colt.  You did a good thing saving his life.

  7. He looks like a quarter horse, but i cant be sure. But i wouldnt be suprised if he was a freisean.

  8. His neck does look kind of Friesian-like. But I would wait until he's older until we can make a better guess.

  9. he does look pretty big but not thick enough to be draft...it is tempting to say fresian mix...but i just cant help thinking trakhener (how ever u spell it.)

  10. Well, he seems to have some feathers on his fetlocks which could indicate some Friesian or Draft blood.  He is a very big and stocky boy!! Plus his tail set and his sloping croup reminds me of a Friesian too.

Whatever he is though,  thank you for rescuing him and giving him a home.  I hope the two of you have many happy times and experiences together.

He looks like he needs to fill out and muscle up a bit.  But he is at that awkward age and soon he should "come together" if you know what I mean!!

    Best of luck to you!!

  11. Probably Friesan, Quarter horse, Thoroughbred mabey.

  12. seems to be percheron and freisain, but I would wait to see how he turns out when he is about 2-3 years.

  13. He looks more percheron/friesian.

    I don't think he's percheron/ belgin though!

your best bet is to wait about another year, and see how he fills out!

  14. Definetly has Friesian in him. He could POSSIBLEY, but probley not, be pure Friesian. To me he looks Friesian/Percheron to me...maybe TB lol WHO KNOWS!! :D You will probley never know for sure,

Hopefully, those pictures might give you an idea of what the crosses look like...since you know his structure better than those pictures can show :) Good Luck, and thanks for saving him xD
