What kind of horsepower will a hypercharger add to my motorcycle, and what is the best kind to buy?

i just recently heard about hyperchargers on motorcycles and i was wondering if they are worth it for the amount of power that they add. and also what are the best jet kits and do they have different stages.

An experienced mechanic with a reputation for honesty (who I worked for)  told me he was amazed at the difference in performance after he put a Kuryakyn Hypercharger on an 800cc Vulcan (as was the bike's owner).  

We ended up putting them on all kinds of mid-sized and large cruisers.

The  car guy doesn't know enough abut bikes to critique your question.

i got the plain one or the cheapest and cant tell any different but i like the way they look... and sure they have all kind of jets but its really how much you have done to the motor to know which to get from stock i think i when up four sizes but i cant remember what mine was to starter but i think its a 45 jet now so if you have done the exhaust and then the breather you do the jet also.... its under a cap you have to drill it and be careful.... wrap some tape a round the end of drill its not deep and whatch the rubber seal on the top .. good luck and have fun

Basically these things do wonders with "cool" and not much else. If you want looks buy one. If you want performance, buy a bigger motorcycle with a bigger engine.
