Chocolate is ok but I prefer French Vanilla, Coconut, Almond Joy - coconut ice cream with almonds and milk chocolate chips, Butter Pecan, Maple Walnut, Pistachio, Chocolate Almond and Strawberry with chopped nuts.

But since this is for a party and you will have people with different tastes, I would go with Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry and maybe a couple of fruit sherbets like Orange and Lemon.  Don't forget to have some different toppings like butterscotch/caramel, chocolate, hot fudge, strawberry, pineapple, chopped nuts, peanuts, whipped cream/Cool Whip and possibly marshmallow cream.

Neapolitan you can never go wrong with that!!! that is chocolate strawberry and vanilla  my favorite is rainbow sherbet!!
