  1. To fly anywhere in the world let alone the US you need your United States Passport or Green Card. If you lost it then you need to contact the United Stated Council and get a new one. Otherwise, take a train or bus.

  2. since ur not "of" the US it might be a little hard, but I just flew like a month ago and I had no id except my school id and they took it.

  3. well, since your not a citizen you'll have difficulty flying without your green card. Contact your consulate and see if they will give you a temporary replacement or another form of proof that you are here legally.

But to my knowledge, since you are a minor you don't need any id at all. If your parents are driving you to the airport and walking you to the gate then you should be fine as long as they have proof of citizenship and their IDs.

However, I would call the airline you are flying with to ensure that you are ok. It gets tricky to fly when you aren't a citizen, and I would hate for you to be held back because you don't have your greencard.

  4. I would contact the airport you will be flying out of to make sure.  I imagine that your employee ID will work, but it's best to call just to make sure.

  5. Minors under 18 do NOT need I.D. to fly.  See site below to verify, but since you are flying alone , it really is best to have ome.  Airlines will accept "alternative" I.D....just explain that you lost your wallet.  Take your work I.D. and anything else you can.  As soon as possible, it is extremely important to replace your lost green card.

You cannot get a stat i.D. card without your green card....but as soon as you get a replacement, you can go get a state I.D. card.   Those who said you need to contact your consulate about a green card do not understand what a green card is and that it is issued by the U.S. government.  And you definetly do not need a passport to fly within the U.S.  You will be fine.  You can also call your airline ( if you can get a human on the phone) and ask about what they wil accept.  This happens to people every day...and they just have to go through a bit longer security exam, then everything is ok.

  6. If you are flying with an adult you will have no problem. If you are flying by yourself you might have a problem as the airlines recomend minors flying alone have one!

  7. no you need a state issued id.  I just flew with my sister and they asked her for it.  It is easy to get just go to DMV
