  1. Under 18 they are not required to show proof of citizenship -

    To be on the safe side, you can always have their school ID or copy of a birth certificate.


  2. they dont need any identification for traveling within the US

  3. 13 doesnt need anything but the 16 year old needs permit or school card

  4. Children ages 18 and under are only required to present proof of citizenship (without ID), such as a birth certificate, naturalization certificate or passport. If a birth certificate is presented, it must be a certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or state.

  5. If they are flying with an adult they would not need any IDs at all. If they are flying alone the 16 would need a a state issued ID and you can get one of those at at a DMV for the 13 year old a birth certificate would work.
