  1. Water

    haha :)

  2. it's probably another type of goldfish, i too have one along with goldfish and it will eat goldfish food

A couple things you might want is a filter, that keeps your tank clean and you don't have to clean it as often and maybe an airpump to give your fish enough air in the water, to know if you need an airpump you will see your fish mostly at the surface. And of course food and water, in my tank i have gravel, and 3 live plants i bought at the store. And it depends, some fish don't like light, my fish don't because every time i turn the light on, the swim to the bottom or go into their little ornament caves, but if your fish don't mind, it will make your tank much prettier

  3. You need at least a 20 gallon aquarium with a filter.  Goldfish make a lot of waste and thus need a lot of water. Weekly water changes and gravel vacuuming is a must. Substrate like gravel. Ornaments and plants to keep your fish entertained. At least two different kinds of food so your goldfish doesn't get constipated. Your description of the other fish isn't elaborate enough to tell what kind of fish it is. It could be a goldfish too and just hasn't developed it's gold color or is just a brown goldfish. Then you will need at least 30 gallons.

  4. first of all WATER AND FOOD!!!Lol , airpump, filter, lights, and if you want some ornaments you can buy them at the petstore

  5. Are they both in the same bag or same tank when you got them both? If so, you can add them both. Keep an eye on the goldfish if you got him from a second tank. Those two may not get along well. They're really territorial.

Did you check your water parameters? Cycle the tank for 24 hours? Add any aquarium salt? If so, then acclimate the fish for 15-20 minutes. Do not add them to the fish tank without acclimating them and the longer you acclimate them, the better the chances. Do not add the water from the bag to your tank water. It can cause unwanted diseases. Net them and introduce them into the tank. Check the water frequently for ammonia, Ph Levels,  nitrites, nitrates, and siphon the gravel with a gravel vacuum. You can find them at Walmart, Pet Smart, Petland, and do research. Keeping an aquarium requires a lot of work. And I have two tens filled with different kinds of fish.

One ten has a four zebra glo-lights, one kuhlii loach, and an otoclincus. Zebras are We Cost Too Much, Oto-Jaws, and Kuhlii: Coolio.

My other one has a large, goldfish named Neeble. Who loves being by himself and get this, he was a theme park fish that I won and he's big as life.
