What kind of insect looks like wasp/bee and is mostly black with white stripes around its back?

  1. I prefer the name flower fly as that is where you find them.  They all belong to the family Syphidae.

    this is a hover fly. They are pollinators, probably drinking nectar from ur peach. Their larvae are also pest controllers(some of them). Scaeva pyrastri is their species

    Otherwise, may as well be a bee/wasp
