  1. Typical coverage you would need includes your General Liability, Business Equipment Coverage, Workers Compensation and possibly Commercial Automobile Insurance.  In some states you can exempt yourself from workers compensation.  You can also decide not to insure your business equipment which means you assume the financial loss should your equipment get stolen, damaged or destroyed.  Finally you may need Commercial Auto Insurance if you have a personal truck which you use in the course of your business.  Most Personal Auto Insurance policies will not cover you truck in event of accident/loss if used for business.

Finally, if you get a policy, try to keep the policy in force instead of canceling or letting it lapse year after year.  If you have a history of cancellations; some companies may refuse to insure you in the future.

  2. i would contact geico.com  simple dba liability policy! $100.00/year approx

  3. Landscaping - no tree trimming, no pesticides, no pool chemicals, no snowplowing - liability coverage will cost you about $1,000 a year.  Equipment coverage starts at $500.  Workers  comp starts at $1500.

Talk to a local agent for specific quotes for you.
