  1. Commercial liability and auto.  WC if you have any employees.

  2. there are a ton of web resources for this.  The first thing is to check with the Secretary of State (a state agency where your business will be) and find out what insurance is 'required' for your chosen service.  before you do that, you can go and check quotes for services you might like to have.  Simply search on Yahoo or Google.  I put in "business service insurance" and clicked on the first link.  I have insurance for company (liability) through Stamford Insurance .

  3. You are going to need a Commercial General liability policy to cover your operations, perhaps a fidelity bond (to assure that you don't STEAL from the business or residence) and Workers Compensation if you have employees.

Depending on your State, you may not be REQUIRED to carry Work Comp - but, it's still a good idea.

Find yourself a local independent agent that specializes in small businesses and he should be able to assist you!

Good luck and I hope this helps!
