What kind of irons should I get?

Question

I am a freshman in high school. I am looking for fordged forgiveing irons. I have ping moxie irons and need new ones. I am a good golfer.

Ben Hogan irons are very nice. The forged clubs are especially good because each different iron shaft has a different stiffness that allows you to hit each club to its full ability. Also, forged lasts longer that cast. Most other companys use the same shaft in all of their irons.

Since you are moving to mens irons from a junior set, i suggest you buy cavity back irons, and not blades. So i would go to a golf store near you and try out different irons. Some of the better irons out now are Taylormade, Callaway, and Mizuno. I would suggest the Burner irons from tayormade, the X20s from callaway, and the MX25s from Mizuno. Good Luck.

man a buddy of mine just got the newest ping irons,i hit them and really like them alot but it hard for me to let go of my taylor made irons best round ive shot with them is a 67,god played with me that day,go with what feels the best to you,if your a good golfer the club you pick will fall into place,take your time picking whats best, get fitted for your irons also,thats a big plus

Im also in high school and recently got the mizuno mp 33's. Expensive, but in my opinon worth every penny. Theyre forged blades and the most forgiving blade ive ever played

I hit Titleist DCI irons and they work for me but they aren't the best in the world right now. u could go to a callaway golf store and they will have a club fitting part of the store and they help u find the best clubs for ur swing type and everything like that. some of the best irons are as follows

Callaway X-20 irons

TaylorMade R7 irons

Titleist DCI Irons

but this is only my opinion. u should go to a golf store and actually ask those people as to what are the clubs to get they have more experience into what is needed for u
