I was "Google Earthing" western Iraq today when all of a sudden I happened upon a lovely swept wing jet sittin all by its lonesomeness at the end of some tarmac. What type of jet is this? US? Y22? Pretty cool finding this.

The russian Mig-25 Foxbat looks very similiar to the F-15 also.

  2. Khamis Mushait has a 12,400ft paved runway. The base was designed and built by US Army and Air Force engineers in the 1960s and 70s.

Khamis Mushait is one of the 6 main Saudi Air Force bases.  At Khamis Mushait are F-15C/D, F-15S (a slightly downgraded F-15E strike variant.

  4. I believe it's the G.I. Joe Conquest X-30

  5. Your coordinates are for south-western Saudi Arabia. They fly primarily U.S. planes, but that looks like a russian Mig-29 or an Su-27. I can't see it well enough to tell exactly.
