What kind of jet ski should i get?

im looking at getting a used jet ski and have never rode one even though i like the stand up ones overall im looking to spend 2-4 grand and im 16 so wut brands and models are the nicest

ok, the best brand in sea doo, everyone i know that has a jet ski, has a sea doo, they perfom great and last long. yamaha and honda are too big, they're slow, and not fun. try ebay, they have good deals there. before you buy one though, make sure you know everything about the jetski, and try to get the jet ski inspected by a marine engineer to make sure everything is fine. good luck!

If you're going to get a two stroke, which is probably the only ones in your stated price range, get the Yamaha or Kawasaki brand. Yamaha's 650, 701, 760, 1100 engines are bulletproof, and their 1200 $ 1300 can be built to beat the fastest skis out on the water.  Kawasaki Ultra 150 is a rocket from the start.

Only fat yuppies or first time buyers own SeaDoos. Talk to any watercraft shop and ask which brand is the worst when it comes to reliability, they'll tell you.  SeaDoo is the only brand with a dedicated "I hate Seadoo" webpage. http://www.seadoosucks.com

I would suggest getting a sit down wave runner instead more fun and can give rides to girls.  As for brand names stick with Yamaha or Kawasaki most reliable. Stay away from Polaris and seadoo.
