I need a job to make a little extra money, but am underage. I already volunteer at Ten Thousand Villages about twice per week and have been for nearly nine months. I do all sorts of things like cleaning, organizing, hanging pictures, taking inventory, busting open wooden crates, calculating discounts, etc. The problem is that most places will not take someone my age. I am currently trying to set up a regular babysitting job, but I honestly hate little kids. Also, my parents will not pay me extra for doing more work around the house.

If you hate kids, don't babysit. You might try offering your services to elderly in your neighborhood. There are probably many people who would like a "shopping assistant" to help them go to the grocery store, for example, so someone to straighten up the house, or take out the trash. Be innovative.
