Look into MEP consulting firms that design mechanical systems for buildings. I say consulting firms because with enough experience and training while working with these companies it opens the door to starting your own consulting business. Thats when the big bucks start rolling in, which is what we all want, right?... Good luck.

there are so many options! nanotechnology, i.c.technology, or with our ever longer live spans the need for replacing body parts (i.e.bones) with synthetic ones will call for mechanical engineering.-blurey
