  1. That job does not translate directly to any civilian field but he can get any job he is qualified for and his military experience will be a plus..

If you apply for a federal job such as a postal carrier you get bonus points as a veteran that go towards you total score.

It all depends on him as to what he can or can not do in the civilian life.

  2. Omg, you guys are mean.... Thank your husband for us please =)..... I was in the army and I know a few guys who went to the police or sheriff or border patrol or something after they got out... They were infantry also... I was 42A, human resource but I decided to go back to school.. But I do know thats where alot of them go for work after.. At least the ones I know did that.

  3. Fire control for a civilian sector in Iraq/Iran?

  4. I heard Wal-Mart is hiring.

  5. Definitely not a Field Artillery Man for the CivDiv.  He's a Marine; they don't cater jobs of our expertise in the CivDiv unless he plans on become a cop or security.  Most of us are forced to work handing out happy meals to snot-nosed kids or collecting shopping carts in parking lots.  We weren't in the USAF getting technical training in the ever-fast technological advanced country!  He should have stayed in!

  6. i have a cousin and a friend who wore in marines and both of them found very good jobs. my cousin has his own business and my friend works at the bank as accountant. he can go to college (its free for ex/military persona) and spend year doing some low cost job to support his family and get in to some field. the best field to be in is nursing.

  7. fries with that?

  8. He needs to take advantage of the GI Bill and go to school. Theres not much call for civilian field artillery.
