What kind of jobs are in NASCAR?

i am doing this for a reaserch project for school that is due in 3 weeks. any help will be useful. thanks for helping

Oh yeah, all the above answers plus the people that plan travel schedules for the crew, book hotels,  sponsor representatives, accountants, shop managers, engineers, parts people, and on and on. Does the guy who mows the grass at the racetrack count as a Nascar job?

go to the nascar website, they have the entire pit crew and thier jobs...

owner, driver, crew chief, mechanic, pit crew member, all the admin and support positions back at the shop (including that guy at jgr's store who has to put up with my calls all the time), fabricators, body shop, engineers (of many sorts), tire specialist, engine shop, performance tuners, guy who sweeps up at the team shop, truck/hauler drivers, cooks, PR people, etc.

as for nascar themselves, there's the president, a bunch of vice-presidents, and officials (including the one in charge of random cautions).  and oh yeah, the sprint cup girls - they are jobs in nascar, just probably hired by the sponsor.

finally, there's all the media positions involved with nascar - from high-level top-notch correspondents like hammond, mcreynolds, ricky rachtman, jimmie spencer, kenny wallace, and the master - rutledge wood.  and all their staffs and the people who make the shows possible - the cameramen, key grips, cable guys, computer network engineers and system administrators, directors, segment producers, etc.

i'm sure there's more, and i know they could be more detailed (jackman, tire carriers, catch can man, etc.), but some research on team and nascar sites could probably get you more specific info.
