You're mistaken.  A Master's in criminal justice will not get you a job as a police officer.  You have to take civil service exams and go through the academy.  The Master's won't do anything to help you get the job.

Any kind of degree will qualify you for some jobs.

You could be a prison guard

One guy I knew with a Criminal Justice degree was elected as Justice of the Peace, and later he quit and became a member of Congressman Joe Barton's staff.
