OTHER THAN TEACHING. I already know about teaching. If you're going to tell me "teaching" don't bother. Except I know you will because you want the 2 points. Grr.

What If i have an associates in Culinary arts, AND I get a degree in anthropology?

  1. Most aid, non-profit, and development groups hire anthropologists but a lot prefer experience and a Master's degree.  In anthropology, most jobs require a Master's degree.  However, the US military is hiring.  You should be looking at activist and social services jobs and hoping there are some opportunities you qualify for.

  2. depends on what field of anthropology interests you.  there are 5 recognized fields....sociocultural, biological, archaeology, linguistic and applied

but here's the simple breakdown....with sociocultural, you can be hired by different organizations to study a culture or a certain aspect of a culture.....with biological you can do something more medical such as criminology....with archaeology you can probably guess....linguistics might be more academic....and applied is taking various aspects of these fields and combining to do social outreach kind of projects.  and the government always seems to be hiring anthropologists too.

    *i'm studying to be a cultural anthropologist...mostly i will teach :)

  6. A degree in Anthropology and an associates in culinary arts,  Hmnn, That would not disqualify you from a number of situations, have you tried your local cemetery for a gravediggers post, as a lot of them still don't have the mechanical diggers, but that would leave out the culinary arts bit. What about a part time post in the canteen of the Anthropology section of your local university?
