What kind of jobs can i get with zoology?

I love ALL animals. especially the ones most people are turned off from (spiders, snakes, sharks, ect.)

I want to study zoology, and have a career with animals, even if it is a desk job where I never get to encounter them, of course I'd much rather work with them though.

What kind of jobs are out there? do they pay well? and is there a demand?

With a degree in zoology, wildlife management, biology, etc. you can get work as a biologist, wildlife biologist, field biologist, etc.  You can work for the government (US Fish and Game, US Fish and Wildlife, etc.), a museum, a university, a non-profit organization, a zoo, or an environmental consultant firm.  Pay ranges greatly depending on education, experience earned, and who you work for.  There is usually a demand if you are experienced enough and if you specialize your chances of getting a job will be better.
