  3. Dear Patrick,

    There are not many paying jobs at county or other small airports.  But if you are willing to put in the hours, you can be a "line boy", washing windscreens, pumping gas and the like.  When I was working toward my license, I managed to earn enough credit with a local FBO to get in one or two hours of flight time.

    You can also do 'favors' for other pilots.  Handling baggage, calling taxis on your cell phone, fetching and carrying so the pilot can concentrate on his flight plan or just relax will earn you tips, but no salary.
