What kind of jobs can you get with a major in Film?

I have chosen film as my alternative major if I dislike my current one but I was wondering what kinds of careers one might expect to get with a film major and do any of them involve special effects or something creative/fun?

  1. You can direct low budget indie films and play them in an arthouse. A huge film star fresh from school would be someone on the IFC channel.
