What kind of jobs do you get if you are really good in history

im really good in history but i dont know what kind of jobs are there...although i want to work in eastern europe or russia...but i dont think there is those kind of jobs that has something to do with history there...anything else besides archeologist and professor...pls tell me history is my especiallty

If you get a doctorate you can be a professor.  You can also be an author, museum curator, etc.

if you watch alot of documentaries you will find that in order to make just one film on one subject they need a bunch of different kinds of archeologist, historians, interviewers, biographers, world travelers and experts

there is always something new to discover and something mind boggling an archeologist digs up and needs to be dated and explained

hey, check the web.  i've looked on several sites with job listenings- not specific ones, but lists of jobs that are out there and what their pays are and what the need for them will be in the future.  if you go to one of these sites, and search world history or something, you can have fun looking at the options!

Well, a docent at museum is the first one that came to mind.  You could also be a historical consultant for movies and books and stuff like that.

There are jobs in the Fed Govt, not sure what they are called, but they require a person to know everything about a specific country.   History, Religion, Speech, everything.  Pay is pretty good.

Actually only profession i know in History is a teacher/professor. Few of my friends are history major and they are planning on becoming teachers. I would advice you to go for history major.. even if you don't make abundance amount of money, at least you will be happy. BTW most college students plan on becoming something and end up being something else after college. so don't worry right now. get a degree in history and try to get very good grades. just focus.
