What kind of jobs make you work on Memorial Day?

I have to, and don't know why. It's an entertainment type of job.

Do you get holiday pay?

Depends on the company and state laws on holiday pay.  All the stores are open on Memorial Day were we are.  Hotels do not take a break either.

Sorry you have to work it.  Try and make the best of it.

ANY operation that is open when everyone else is on holiday.. race tracks, restaurants, theme parks, etc.  It's part of WORKING FOR A LIVING that most people who have to work when everyone else is enjoying theirselves that they really hate.
