What kind of jumper cables do u have?

im talking about what gauge the cable u guys have. also, what is the grounded part of the engine. where is it?

Dont know the gauge but pretty thick ones,The thin ones can be so dangerous and not perform well

I never earth on the - of the battery,The bulck head bolts is a good place,Make sure its clean

mine is 10 also and it can withstand the current.. i think the whole engine is the ground. positive runs on the cables..

The lower #guage the wire is, the heavier the wire is. The grounded side of the modern 12volt system is any part. My personal jumper cable are made of electric welder lead wires.
