  1. It's tricking which is what they call some techniques in caporeira  as the elaborate technique is meant to misleed or trick an opponent.XMA is just show boating and not any kind of effective martial art.

    History lesson

Karate was born out of chinese kung fu influences on the art of OKINAWA TE an ancient form of fighting in OKINAWA .OKINAWAN KARATE OR KEMPO JUTSU was introduced to JAPAN between 1895 and 1905 and became known as karate do. It is not a traditional japanese form in the sense it is an ancient japanese art.which it is not.

Karate may appear to have no resemblance to kung fu but the OKINAWANS opted for a more practical and down to earth interpretation of the technique .The main kung fu influences were white crane //tiger boxing//monk fist boxing and hard/soft boxing .

KOREA had no input or influence on any martial art .They may have had fighting methods but none organized to the extant of kung fu or karate .

  2. It's called "Tricking" and sometimes XMA, extreme martial arts but this looks like pure tricking to me, no comment on your second question

  3. Karate is a martial art. Like baseball is a sport. Karate is a VERY basic martial art, 50/50 on punches and kicks. Karate is Okinawan. Kung Fu, refers to Chinese Martial arts, so that means it could be hundreds. Kung Fu is more fluid, when they come to fighting.

DO NOT use Karate as a name to call martial arts. Thats just plain ignorance.

In the video, it could be capoeria, or XMA (extreme martial arts)

  4. it's called capoera

  5. That's breakdancing basically.

  6. looks like XMA :P

martial art:a system of combat and self-defense, e.g. judo or karate, developed especially in Japan and Korea and now usually practiced as a sport

kung fu: a Chinese form of self-defense in which fluid, circular movements of the arms and legs are used to attack an opponent

karate: a traditional Japanese form of unarmed combat, now widely popular as a sport, in which fast blows or kicks are used

  7. Thats XMA. (Extreme Martal Arts)
