What kind of light bulbs do you use ?

I am buying up all the older types I can find, I hate the new ones and I will not have to worry about mercury scare that will be the next thing to worry about..

I use compact fluorescents in the main lights and 15watt bulbs in other lamps.  The 15 watt conventional light bulbs lasts long and puts out very little heat. They burn so cool, you can touch the bulb even after it's been on for a while. That's why they last so long.  They put out enough light to be useful at a desk or a reading light next to a bed.  They are bright enough to read by yet dim enough to be conducive to sleep.

Compact fluorescents - I prefer the warm tones and not the cool white. My outside lights will stay incandescents until a fluorescent is made that will come on full power immediately in northern Wisconsin's bitter cold winters.

I use CFCs in places where I would leave the lights on for a long time (e.g. living room).  I use incandescents in places like hallways or closets where I turn on the lights briefly.  I also use incandescents in appliances like the fridge or oven.

Compact florescents, they last longer.

MAINLY NON-INCANDESCENTS!

Mostly the new Low Watt types.

I only use Incandescents where I need a light source that I can use a dimmer on.

I HAVE BEEN TURNING TO LED LAMPS MORE AND MORE.
