What kind of living things are found inside a ravine?

  1. well inside a ravine in Northern Ontario you would find moles ,voles, shrews, mice, rabbits ,red foxes, coyotes ,white tailed deer ,possible black bear along with a large variety of birds like partridge, wild turkey ,chickadees, wrens, snakes salamanders(if it was a wet area)tree frogs, toads,and a whole mess of insects,the populations would depend on the acreage,closeness to a city,how wooded it is,if it has a creek.

It really depends on the climate where the ravine is located.  As you might guess a ravine on mars or Antarctica is unlikely to contain life, but a ravine in the swamps of Louisianan would be teeming with life.  I have seen lizards, snakes a variety of insects and beautiful flowers in a ravine in Death Valley that most would expect to have no life.  Actually the list would be much shorter if you asked what kinds of living things can not be found inside a ravine.
