The lizard is sm/med size. I live in Northwest Georgia. I always see green lizards or the brown ones around here but this one was spotted in our basement, that we fequently use. I barely got close enough but he run away...and fast...faster than those green ones.

  1. The lizard cannot be identified by that simple description alone, although it may be some type of skink.

You should look in a field guide for your area, or post a CLEAR photo with locality data.

  2. There are over 8,000 species of lizards in the world. At least tell where you live.

  3. Well, it could be a few. It depends on where you found it, how big/small it is, what it looks like... It may be just a skink, or a gecko, or anything like that. If you have it, then I'd go the the library and check out a reptile guide, and see if there's a picture of it in there.

  4. sounds like a five lined skink or a racerunner but you need to be more descriptive so its easier to identify it as the correct species so i would reccomend you to google lizards native to your area and identify it yourself

  5. it might be a skink. i dont know much about lizards. i got of wikipedia lol

  6. Without any more info would be difficult. Id have to guess an sub species of ameiva

  7. My guess is a skink.

  8. It All Depends On Its Location
