What kind of lizard is this, is it even a lizard?

It is is about 2 inches long.It has a dark green back and tail and it's stomach is pale green. It has black speckles on it's underside and orange dots on it's top. What kind of lizard is this and is it even a lizard?

sounds to me like a salamander of some sort, a pic would help, or at the least your location.

it could be a newt or salamander

It's the rare orange dotted black speckled wohumbee.  Also known as the green back tail lizard, very rare and good in soup.

if it can stick on windows , i think that could be a giant day gecko.
