What kind of martial art was matt damon doing in "Bourne Indentity" ?

Its a great blend of hokie pokie and huey all rolled into one style.  Yeah, it has elements of real martial arts, but never enough of anything to say they are doing a real art.

Don't get me wrong, its fun to watch, and looks great of film.  However, it is not "a" martial art.

In the behind the scenes interviews, they said it was filipino martial arts which are Arnis, Escrima, and Kali.

I too have heard that Bourne's base technique is Escrima/Eskrima (sp?) and that it's also intermixed with Kali and other disciplines.

from what i heard there is some bonus feature where matt talks about doing kail/escrima/arains.some also say its krav maga

You can bet that no matter what art or arts it is based on it has been jazzed up for the cameras.  There is rarely if ever real martial arts shown on TV or in the movies. That has a lot to do with the warped concepts the average person has about what the MA are really about.
