  1. I think it's jujistu...

  2. It depends... one of the most famous bodyguard styles is Bajiquan, the bodyguards of Mao Zedong and many other famous political figures had bodyguards that were well versed in Bajiquan. Police in China are trained in Shuai Jiao, in Japan, they are trained in Judo, and in Houston, my sifu trained some cops in Qinna. So, police usually do grappling arts that involve a lot of submissions. Why is everyone convinced that Bouncers have to be tough? I know bouncers and they need to have good communication skills, not strength and force, bouncers must be charismatic and persuasive, not intimidating.

  3. They take the most realistic styles that work in self defence situations

But it's ultimately what you can adapt to and feel comfortable using and apply in adrenaline situations that will help.

    Best wishes :)***

  4. There is no set style, as it all depends on what they are interested in.

The big thing is that they have to make sure they don't use their abilities outside the law. The military and other more clandestine services are all who really get "free reign" of their fighting abilities. Oh and the military even still, in some circumstances has to abide by the rules of engagement.

  5. There is no requirements for body guards or cops to do. Police departments do use martial arts in their training. But not necessarily a style of martial arts. The take several applications from martial arts to teach cadets how to take down a person and control them long enough to cuff them. They also learn that they are to keep fighting in order to survive. Mainly they learn how to control a person. Those techniques are often taken from Jujitsu, Aikido, and or Judo.

  6. my sifu got his black sash at the same time as this other guy, and the other guy went off to be a body guard for justin timberlake

    hung gar kung fu

  7. For bouncers, any, and some don't at all.

Cops may or may not have a specialized form of group training, but this depends on the precinct. Many just have a general form of self defense training. There are, however, a number of officers who go outside this to other arts. I've known and trained with cops in a variety of different arts -- kung fu, taijutsu, BJJ, muay thai... It's just whatever makes them feel confident of their abilities.
