Better to use the Bio-degradable things no matter it may be of longterm or short term , For example let us explore the alternatives to the use of plastic .

2. If cannot avoid, decrease the quantity of use.

Example:- Carry a bag and avoid asking for a carry bag at the shop, if u feel uncomfortable atleast keep one carry bag in ur byke and use the same when ever u go to the market.

Sorry but nature has done it a few million years ago. Where do U think our present supply of oil came from?? Wrong not from fossil animal but fossil plants . The plants take in the CO2 and capture the sun's energy and convert it to oil. The plants have done this for millions of years and will continue for many years.
