What kind of mattress functions both as a box spring & the mattress?

I am looking for a mattress that functions both as a mattress & a box spring. I had one for my son's bed, but I can't remember what they are called. Can anyone tell me what they are called & maybe give me a link to a store online that sells them. thanks

it's called a bunkie board bed. or interspring bunkie it comes in a 300 or 400 models. any matress store has it or can order it for you. just call them.
