  1. Green Beans, Mashed Pot.  Cooked Carrots, Simple soft foods or you can buy the one year Gerber foods.

  2. mac and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, rice, chicken, hamberger helper, corn, spagetti, grilled cheese, fruit (canned or fresh),little graduates meals, pretty much whatever u eat he can eat really, he may not like meat at first my daughter didnt but u can try.

  3. You should be able to give him any of the foods you are eating as long as they are in small cubes or pieces. Any cooked veggies, soft meats like meat loaf, hamburger (well done), baked whitefish (check with the dr before giving him any dark fish like salmon or tuna due to the mercury content) baked chicken, eggs (scrambled and fully cooked or hard boiled) french toast, pancakes, rotini or penne pasta, etc. If he can self feed, pick up food and put it in his mouth, then just cut everything up small and put it on his highchair tray. My son is 16 mos old and has been eating the same foods we eat for about 6 mos now, but my son also has all 8 front teeth and 4 pre-molars. Lots of the gerber graduates are great too, the puffs, yogurt melts, cheese puffs, dried fruit, etc. Also you should start offering your son whole milk in a sippy cup with meals. Talk to the dr about cutting back on his formula also. As long as all the food groups are represented throughout the day he should probably be weaning off of the bottle now. I know my dr recommended only one bottle a day at whatever time he needs it most. If you are unsure of any foods due to food allergies in your family then hold off on those foods until you talk to the dr.

  4. At this age you can basically try feeding him the foods that you eat. Pull his highchair close to the table where you are eating, and offer him all the foods that you are eating yourself. (In baby spoon portions of course!)

Speak to the pediatrician, to find out if there's anything you should be wary of (in terms of allergic reactions) otherwise, anything should go.
