  1. It comes from all sorts of meat. The fat makes the gelatin.

  2. pork

  3. There is no meat in gelatin.

There is gelatin in meat though.

  4. is a translucent, colourless, brittle, nearly tasteless solid substance, extracted from the collagen inside animals' connective tissue. It has been commonly used as a gelling agent in food, pharmaceutical, photography, and cosmetic manufacturing. Substances containing gelatin or functioning in a similar way are called gelatinous. Gelatin is an irreversibly hydrolyzed form of collagen.

it may have "started" as a meat stew but it was then filtered and rendered to some basic chemicals called proteins then dehydrated then ground to a powder..

People jump up and down and run around waving their hands and yelling "OH my god pork and lots of other" parts..
