Does anyone know the quality of the meats use in places like McDonald's, Taco Bell, KFC, Burger King, etc. Are they really low grade?

  1. According to the USDA and also the Pure Food and Drug Act passed since the 1930's by Roosevelt (still in effect today), all meats musts be inspected and have approval by the government before released to the public. The Pure Food and Drug Act states that there must be only clean meat free of bacteria served in restaurants, grocery shops, etc. I would say that all the meats in places like McDonalds, Burger King, Taco bell, Wendy's, etc. are in the same high quality as meats served in restaurants.

  2. (they all pull use meat off the ground and they put put it in your food)... blah!!!

  3. well, in ireland, i work in a cDonald's and we use 100% irish beef.

but thats not to say the COMPANY might be called 100% irsish beef.....

thats what i heard anyway.. but then if you eat a patty of meat, it IS beef. it is. soe people think they are funny though with the "tastes like cardboard" coments.

if you dont like it, dont eat i and Stop complaining!

    :)

  4. they use alley meat and road kill.

  5. they use the very cheap quality

  6. Seriously?

Yes, of course - the lowest grade possible. How do you think they are able to sell it so cheap and yet still make a profit?

  7. There mainly all processed meats and they wouldn't live up to the government standards for meat sold within the places you mentioned

  8. I can only speak for McDonald's as I work with that organization (not for it) and know many details of their operations.  They do use USDA approved 100% beef for the hamburgers, quality white meat only chicken, and and equal level for the sausage products.  Though their menu items are processed foods just like much of what we buy in the store, their meats are all natural, and good quality.  McDonald's has worked very hard in recent years to hold their suppliers to high standards of quality, sanitation, and humane animal treatment.
