What kind of medicine can get me high?

Question

Don't criticize please. I need to know. Something safe to use, were I won't pass out. Will cough syrup get me that numb feeling? What kind of pills will? Thanks so much... give me as much information as you can about it.

well, i drank half a bottle of cough syrup (prescription) and didn't feel the effects, so i drank half a bottle of nyquil and i still got nothing. when i was watching a movie i felt dizzy and thought i was about to robotrip, but i wasn't thinking clearly and i went to sleep before i tripped. when i woke up i was lightly stoned and it was like that almost all day.

serioiusly, and this is not judging.....there's no safe high....and if you're needing to get that numb feeling, there's something else going on....you need something, but it's not medecine....it's an appt. with a doctor to find out if you're suffering from an addiction, or depressed, or what have you...but do yourself a favor...show yourself some REAL love and get the help you need......not a high that will only make everything else worse.  And in case you're wondering....whereever you are, or whatever you're doing...even if you do end up getting high....God still loves you, and wants you to get the help you need....maybe that's why He found me to answer your question.   If you have nowhere else to turn, open your yellow pages, find a local church, and tell them you need help....I'd recommend a Vineyard church if you can find one, though Catholic works well too....they tend to be there a lot.  Best of luck to you.

You're on a serious road to nowhere with this kind of thinking.  I realize no one can talk you out of this dangerous experiment because no doubt many of your friends have told you how "cool" it is.

It's anything but safe, and when you've damaged your health, and your future, you'll look back and wonder what ever made you do such an absurd thing just to fit in with the crowd.

I hope you'll give this some serious thought and realize you're better than this, and rise above the temptation.
