What kind of memory card do i need for nikon coolpix s51?

will anyone work? or do i need a specific one?

I looked at the nikon coolpix s51 and it seems that any san disk, 512m, 1g m, or 2g m mini disk woud work

An SD card and yes anyone should work as long as you format it when you put it in your camera.

i have an older version of  a coolpix and so i use this type: 256 kingston elite pro

Any SD/SDHC card that you DO NOT buy on the Internet.  There are too many fakes being sold on the Internet now, so buying your card from a store makes a lot more sense.

This weekend, "family-packs" of 4-2GB cards were selling for under $35.
