  2. Depends which part of the plane

  3. 7075 Aluminium. or 6061 Aluminium.

    they are metals that are very strong. But bend under extreme pressure or heat. Like most metals these will snap if constantly bending.

    Titanium...higher strength to weight than aluminum

    Magnesium...used in landing gears and wheel rims

    Stainless Steel.....used in high corrosion areas

    Cadmium.....as a plating surface for corrosion control

    Chrome......plating surface for wear and corrosion control

    Nickel.......used as a plating surface to build up worn parts and corrosion control

    Platinum

    Gold,Silver and Copper....in electrical components
